Overview
The north coast and the Mournes. Royal Portrush and Royal County Down are two of the top ten courses in the world — but it’s Ardglass that groups always talk about after. Five days, three courses, one coastline.
Day 1: Arrival & Royal Portrush
Dunluce Links hosted The Open Championship in 2019. This is where Rory McIlroy learned the game. The course speaks for itself — wide fairways, deep rough, and views across to Scotland on a clear day.
Day 2: Portstewart & Castlerock
Portstewart’s Strand Course opens with one of the great first holes in links golf — a drive from high dunes to a fairway hidden below. Castlerock is the one people didn’t expect to love.
Day 3: Ardglass
The clubhouse is a 15th century castle. The course runs along the cliff edge above the Irish Sea. Ardglass is the one that surprises every group that plays it.
Day 4: Royal County Down
The Mourne Mountains behind, the sea in front. Royal County Down at Newcastle is the course that appears at the top of every list for good reason. Blind shots, deep bunkers, and a finish that you will not forget.
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to Belfast City Airport or Dublin. Time for a full Irish breakfast first.
